This distance from the medieval church of Njutånger provides both the experience of walking through countryside and agriculture past the great characteristic houses of Hälsingland, and a taste of the forest and wildlife experience!
The distance runs from the church of Njutånger on a dirt road, past a couple of farms. You pass the E4 over a tractor bridge. The trail of Stråsjö goes on northwest on smaller roads and paths in the forest area, where there is no settlement.
You follow a path along the lakeside for a short distance, until you reach a small asphalt road running through more settled areas towards Sörforsa. The paths along the lake will during some periods be wet and slippery.
The path next to Kösen can be quite wet, especially after the snow melt in the spring.
Hardwearing boots for walking on damp grounds, a water bottle and a lunch pack.

It might be possible for groups to book the great church boats for boating tours on the far-stretched and beautiful lakes of Forsa. Contact Pilgrimstid well in advance for this opportunity! firstname.lastname@example.org or Ulf Krantz: 070-203 00 84
