This distance from the medieval church of Njutånger provides both the experience of walking through countryside and agriculture past the great characteristic houses of Hälsingland, and a taste of the forest and wildlife experience!

The distance runs from the church of Njutånger on a dirt road, past a couple of farms. You pass the E4 over a tractor bridge. The trail of Stråsjö goes on northwest on smaller roads and paths in the forest area, where there is no settlement.

You follow a path along the lakeside for a short distance, until you reach a small asphalt road running through more settled areas towards Sörforsa.
The paths along the lake will during some periods be wet and slippery.
