You can visit the remote and historical island of Kökar, Finland's smallest municipality Sottunga and the main Åland Island. End or start your journey in Mariehamn or continue by ferry from Eckerö to Grisslehamn in Sweden.

Turku to Mariehamn is 171km and takes 7-9 days.
Turku to Eckerö is 213km and takes 10-12 days.
In Sweden you can continue on St. Olav paths to Trondheim on either The Viking Trail from Grisslehamn, which connects in turn to other paths such as Helgonleden.
Or by travelling north to Selånger, and continuing your pilgrimage on St. Olavsleden.
