WARNING! There was a large forest fire here in the summer of 2018, and in the affected nature, there is a danger of falling trees.

From Lassekrog one should continue on Route 84 to Kårböle. Where the forest fire has affected the nature, there is a risk of falling trees. The stage will be different; much shorter. You will only walk on the south shore of Ljusnan. The information below about boat lifts does no longer apply, however, Stellan has some very interesting information about the history and present of Kårböle.

The trail follows the river Ljusnan. In good time before you come to Kårböle, you can call a pilgrim friend, Stellan, who might be able to pick you up by boat from the northern beach of Ljusnan and take you closer to Kårböle. You save a distance that you do not have to walk twice, if you want to continue from Kårböle. Contact information below:
